What role do you see for AI in the field of Government Relations in Canada?

AI has the potential to be a powerful accelerant in the field of Government Relations in Canada, especially when it comes to transforming how we monitor, interpret, and respond to policy developments. At Sutherland, we see AI as a tool to enhance, not replace strategic insight. It can support our work by streamlining policy tracking, surfacing emerging issues earlier, and offering clients a more proactive lens on government priorities, but AI alone isn’t enough. The value we deliver comes from contextualizing that information within a tailored strategy, shaped by experience, relationships, and deep understanding of government decision-making

How do you help clients achieve their goals?

By tailoring our approach, we ensure our clients can achieve their unique goals.
